Unconventional therapies for cancer: 1. Essiac

As part of the task force created by the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Initiative, a review of literature on unconventional therapies to treat cancer was conducted, including a review of Essiac. Researchers concluded that Essiac is unlikely to cause serious side effects when used as directed. They concluded that research is at a preliminary stage and that high-quality research is needed.
